Retreat Expense

The hermitages are built for the Lord, that He may be with His priests. It is the joy of the Missionaries of the Word that they would be used by many priests as a place of prayer, rest, and renewal. The Missionaries of the Word choose to live entirely on divine providence, and never charge for any of their services. The hermitages were built through the generosity of donors (see history). The generosity of priests who believe in this apostolate is needed for the ongoing operations of the hermitages. We will never turn a priest away for being unable to afford retreat. We ask that priests give as they are able and we entrust ourselves to our Heavenly Father’s care. We are truly grateful for your generosity.
